Holiday highlights at Point No Point Lighthouse
(Port Orchard) - Young and old alike will be
happy to know that as Santa Claus is Coming to Town, he will have
some extra light guiding his way to Hansville again this year! Volunteers
will decorate the Lighthouse for the holidays at 10 a.m. Saturday,
December 7. Officials for the Kitsap County Parks Department say all
volunteers are welcome.
In addition to decorating the lighthouse, volunteers will welcome visitors
to the Lighthouse for the Annual Hansville Ladies Aid Holiday Home Tour on
Friday, December 13 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Included in the tour will be
knowledgeable and friendly docents sharing hot apple cider and tales of the
Lighthouse long ago.
Point No Point Lighthouse is the oldest lighthouse on the Puget Sound, built
in 1879, and includes the Lighthouse Keepers quarters that can be rented.
