Public Meeting on upcoming Suquamish Neighborhood

Outline of construction impacts and road closures,
highlights of sewer pipeline upgrades, construction, County Staff and
emergency contact information.
(Suquamish, WA) –Proposed upgrades to the
existing sewer and stormwater piping system in Suquamish are planned for
this summer. A public meeting covering the expected timeline, highlights
of the improvements, road closures and other impacts is scheduled for
Thursday, May 29 from 6 – 7:30 p.m. at the Suquamish United Church of
Christ (18732 Division Ave NE, Suquamish, WA).
As well, residents that attend the meeting will be able to meet county
staff and project contractors to ask questions and find out more about
why the upgrades are needed for both the stormwater and sewer systems.
Improvements are scheduled this summer along Division Ave, Brockton Ave,
Fern Street, and Geneva Street in Suquamish.
