Yard Waste Roundup at Olympic
(Port Orchard, WA) – Kitsap County residents may
bring yard waste to the Yard Waste Roundup at Olympic Organics in
Saturday, June 7. There will be no fees charged to residential
customers for this event.

Businesses, landscapers, or commercial vehicles are charged at normal
rate. There is no volume restriction for residential customers.

Fines range from a $216 traffic violation to
$5,000 fine and jail time if something falls out of your vehicle and
causes bodily harm.
Facilities will not accept
yard waste for free

This program is part of an ongoing effort by Kitsap County Public Works to
provide recycling alternatives to outdoor burning. The public may recycle
their yard waste at Olympic Organics year round. They are open Monday through
Saturday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
