Voters’ Pamphlet committees sought for Nov. 4

Kitsap’s Local Voters’ Pamphlet includes a wealth of information designed to
help voters better understand the voting process and contests when casting
Each ballot measure appearing in the Nov. 4, General Election Local
Voters’ Pamphlet includes the official ballot title, explanatory statement,
arguments “for” and “against” the measure, and rebuttals.
The Auditor’s Office is seeking individuals to serve on committees to
draft voters’ pamphlet arguments for the following local measures:
“The Local Voters’ Pamphlet is an invaluable resource for our citizens,”
says Kitsap County Elections Division Manager Dolores Gilmore. “Committees
representing both sides of the issue are critical to ensuring our voters
cast informed ballots this fall.”
Committee members do not have to be residents of the district in order to
draft arguments. Interested parties should contact the Elections Division by
5 p.m., Aug. 18. Email
