Septic Sense workshop offered in Port Orchard October 27
Maintaining your septic system will save money and keep pollution out of our local waterways

(Port Orchard, WA)  Kitsap County residents are invited to another free workshop to learn how to keep their septic systems working well and lasting longer. Well maintained septic systems will save homeowners money and keep bacteria and nutrients out of local creeks, lakes, and Puget Sound. The workshop will be held:

October 27, 2015
Givens Community Center Gymnasium
1026 Sidney Ave. #100, Port Orchard

This free event runs from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and will include information about:

  • How septic systems work

  • Best ways to care for them

  • How to detect if a system is failing and what to do next

  • Low interest loan programs for septic repairs

  • Attendees will also receive a free “green” cleaning kit (one per household)

  • Refreshments provided
