November edition of "Inside Report" highlights addressing project and winter weather prep

(Port Orchard, WA) - This month's "Inside Report" highlights the County's address correction project and takes a look at how Public Works prepares for winter weather. The "Inside Report" is a monthly news magazine produced by Kitsap County. It includes headline news and specially produced segments designed to give residents and inside look at County operations.

The address correction project is a countywide effort to correct addresses, eliminate out-of-sequence addresses and confusing or duplicate names in an effort to help with public safety response and provide vital information to an enhanced and improved 911 telephone network while giving clearer direction for deliveries and visitors.

Another segment takes you behind the scenes at Public Works including how workers learn to drive plows, staffing during inclement weather, and the County salt brine project to help keep roads safer during snow and ice events.

The program airs on BKAT (Channel 3 on Wave and 12 on Comcast) Mondays at 5 p.m. It airs again Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. You can watch the program online here (
