Free golf and new program at Village Greens Golf Course

(Port Orchard, WA) - The Village Greens Golf Course, in Port Orchard, re-opens for the season on Monday, March 14 with FREE GOLF for everyone who attends this day. The course will be open from 8 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. Guests are eligible to win prizes by participating in a variety of golf contests.

In addition, Bruce Weir, PGA Golf Professional, is offering a free instructional clinic at 1 p.m. Weir, who also provides the merchandise at the course, has over 35 years experience as a PGA Golf Professional in the region. In addition to Weir, Howard Blakes is returning to teach beginner/intermediate golf lessons. Blakes has six years experience as a golf instructor teaching youth and adults and will be on hand in the afternoon March 14.

New to Village Greens Golf Course this year is the First Tee Program, a low cost youth development program that focuses on teaching the game of golf while teaching life skills. The program is designed for youth ages 6-18. The First Tee Program includes a series of 15 weekly sessions throughout the season. Village Greens Golf Course is located at 2298 Fircrest Drive Southeast, Port Orchard, across from the Orchard Heights Elementary School. March hours at the course will be 8 a.m. to 5:45 p.m.
