Kitsap County Public Works seeks road project suggestions

(Port Orchard, WA) - Kitsap County Public Works seeks road project suggestions to consider in preparation of its annual six-year Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) and Annual Construction Program. The TIP is used to prioritize road improvement projects. This year’s selection process determines which new roadway projects to include in the 2017–2022 TIP.

Project ideas are scored and ranked using set objective criteria. The criteria consider safety and capacity needs, structural conditions, environmental issues, non-motorized needs, and funding availability. Once the top projects are identified, a formal public hearing is held to review the prioritized projects for the TIP.

Residents can submit their ideas using the link below through May 27, 2016. Residents may also attend one of the following scheduled community meetings to learn about the TIP process and submit project ideas:
