Homelessness is the focus for Manchester meeting May 3
(Port Orchard, WA) – The Manchester Citizens Advisory
Committee is hosting a public presentation featuring an overview of
homelessness in Kitsap County, at its regular meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday,
May 3 in the Manchester Library, located at 8067 E. Main Street.
Kirsten Jewell, Housing and Homelessness Program Coordinator of the Kitsap
County Department of Human Services, will provide recent data collected
during the Point-in-Time Count and survey of those living without homes. She
will highlight some of the existing programs that provide resources, and
discuss the Homeless Housing Plan, current implementation efforts and
information on how citizens can get involved. The public is welcome and
encouraged to attend.
