The Inside Report is a news-magazine style show with a headline news section
and two produced field segments. The program started airing last September.
In July the show was recognized with a 2016 Award of Excellence from the
National Association of Counties. “It’s a great way to keep residents
informed of current events, and to show some of the services and programs
offered by the County,” said Doug Bear, Public Communications Manager and
co-host of the show. “The segments give us time to take a deeper look into
things the County does, and highlights County activities that are often not
seen by the public,” Bear added.
“I’ve enjoyed hosting the show personally because it’s provided me with an
inside look at many things that I didn’t know about our programs and
services, despite working here myself.” said co-host Constance Blackburn, a Program Specialist with the County’s
Department of Community Development. “The opportunity to showcase the hard
work of County employees and their true dedication to serving the community
is an honor,” added Blackburn.
The County is looking for your suggestions on segments you want like to see
on the program. If you have an idea, please go to the program web page and
enter your idea at the bottom of the page.
