Clear Creek Bike & Pedestrian Trail

Current Community Info:  Clear Creek Trail Website

Newly completed bike and pedestrian trail

The long awaited Clear Creek Bike/Pedestrian Trail was completed in 2005.  This 1.4 mile long, ten-foot wide paved bike trail provides bicyclists and pedestrians with a way to get from Silverdale Way to Trigger Avenue without driving. The trail begins at the Silverdale Rotary Gateway Park on Silverdale Way, cuts through open space north of Waaga Way and runs along northbound S.R. 3 to the Trigger Avenue Interchange. This trail connects to the Clear Creek Trail constructed by the Clear Creek Task Force that already offers almost 5 miles of soft-surface trail through the heart of Silverdale.

Red lines indicate the new trail addition.  Green lines are existing trails.

The trail has been five years in the making and was funded by a $947,000 grant from the Federal Transportation Enhancement Program. This trail project ranked second among 25 projects in the Puget Sound region competing for grant monies for bike and pedestrian facilities, tourist welcome centers and similar non-motorized projects.
