Transportation Planning Advisory Committee

Purpose
The Transportation Planning Advisory Committee (TPAC) advises County staff on technical transportation issues and decisions, and in the development of procedures and policies that pertain to long-range transportation planning and program management. The TPAC studies and addresses topics related to Concurrency and Growth Management, the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP), Non-motorized plans and infrastructure, inter-governmental coordination and other transportation programs.

Meetings
The committee meets monthly and we encourage the public to attend.

Membership
Three members from each Commissioner district are appointed to serve staggered 3-year terms. Currently seeking Volunteers for this committee.

The new Chico Creek Bridge opened in July 2009. The original bridge was washed off the supports during the December 2007 storm.
