Free Basic Compost Class

There are two classes to choose from. Pick the one near you:

April 13, 6 pm – 8 pm, Fairgrounds Training Center or,
April 27, 6 pm – 8 pm, Orchard Heights Elementary in Port Orchard

Plan to attend and learn easy and practical ways to turn yard trimmings and kitchen scraps into a rich soil amendment. In addition to basic composting techniques, natural lawn care and worm bins will be discussed.

Both classes will provide special activities for children. Activities include a composting video, coloring, and making a mini worm bin to take home.

There is no charge for the course, but space is limited. Participants must register by calling The Open Line at 360-337-5777.
