County Hosts Miller Bay Corridor Community Meeting

When: Tuesday September 26th, 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Where: North Kitsap Fire & Rescue, 26642 Miller Bay Road

(Port Orchard) – Kitsap County Public Works with KPFF Consulting Engineers and their consulting team invites you to an interesting and informative evening presenting ideas for providing a non–motorized trail adjacent to Miller Bay Road from S.R. 104 to Indianola. The County’s project team is developing a design report analyzing potential alignments for the trail. We want to hear what you think, and ensure our efforts are effective. Please drop in anytime to see the presentations and give comments and ideas for this project.

The Miller Bay corridor runs along Miller Bay Road from State Highway 104 to State Highway 305. The focus is Miller Bay Road from Indianola Road north to the Kitsap Transit Park and Ride north of Albertsons. Residents of Suquamish, Indianola and Kingston, along with other North Kitsap residents, local business, local Tribes and others who are interested are encouraged to be involved in the review and planning for this project. Our goal is to present planning and design options being developed by KPFF for an off–road trail within the Miller Bay Corridor.
