Composting Class Scheduled for Port Orchard

Where
: Orchard Heights Elementary School, Port Orchard
When
: October 12, 6:00-8:00 pm
Cost: Free

Master Composters will host a compost class on October 12 at Orchard Heights Elementary School. Plan to attend and learn easy and practical ways to turn yard trimmings and kitchen scraps into a rich soil amendment. In addition to basic composting techniques, natural lawn care and worm bins will be discussed.

Kids may attend and will learn about worm composting.

There is no charge for the course, but space is limited. Participants should register by calling The Open Line at 360-337-5777.
