County Offers Sandbags for Residents in Need 

Kitsap County Public Works is making sandbags available for area residents impacted by the recent string of heavy rain storms. Sandbags are available at each County maintenance shop. The sandbags are located outside the main entrance and will be replenished as needed. The maintenance shop addresses are listed below:

South Road Shop – 2339 SE Cedar Road in Port Orchard (take Converse from SE Sedgwick Road or SE Cedar Road from Bethel Burley Road SE)

Central Road Shop – 1971 Seabeck Highway NW near Bremerton (take Seabeck Highway from Northlake Way NW, then turn left after going over the railroad tracks)

North Road Shop – 301 Berndt Road NE (just east of the SR 307 & SR 305 intersection)
 

Bainbridge Island – Fire Station #22 (7934 NE Bucklin Hill Road on Bainbridge Island)
