Burley– Olalla Interchange Project Impacts Olalla Recycling and Garbage Facility

(Port Orchard)-With long-term road construction at the Burley Olalla Interchange scheduled to begin August 1, 2008, access to and from the Olalla Recycling and Garbage Facility will be altered. Recycling and garbage customers coming from Hwy 16 (either direction) are advised to exit on Mullenix and proceed as follows:

1.	From the Mullenix Road exit off of Highway 16, travel east for approximately 2.5 miles to Olalla Valley Road and turn right.
2.	Travel on Olalla Valley Road for approximately 2.5 miles to Wallace Road and turn right.
3.	Travel on Wallace Road for approximately 400 feet to Burley Olalla Road and turn right.
4.	Travel on Burley Olalla Road for approximately 2 miles. The Olalla Recycling and Garbage Facility is on your left.

It is also recommended that customers west of Hwy 16 use the Olympic View Transfer Station (OVTS) located in the Olympic View Industrial Park across Hwy. 3 from the Bremerton National Airport. OVTS is open 8 am to 5 pm everyday.

Residents who normally self-haul should consider signing up for curbside garbage and recycling service. Contact Waste Management for information at 1-800-592-9995 or www.wmnorthwest.com.
