Court Calendars

Ex Parte

  • Non-criminal ex parte matters are heard Monday through Friday at 8:30 a.m., and at 3:45 p.m.

Civil Matters

  • Probate, guardianship and civil motions in cases which are not preassigned to a specific judge are heard on Friday beginning at 9:00 a.m.

  • Guardianship delinquency matters are heard on the first Friday of each month at 9:00 a.m.

  • Civil matters in cases which have been preassigned shall be heard on that judge's departmental calendar on Friday at 1:30 p.m. 

  • Civil Harassment Calendar is heard on Friday at 2:30 p.m.

Domestic Relations

  • Pro Se Dissolutions (those dissolutions in which neither party is represented by an attorney) are heard on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m.  These hearings are held at the Youth Service Center, 1338 SW Old Clifton Road, Port Orchard.  (Use Pro Se Dissolution Note for Hearing)

  • Domestic Violence hearings are held on Thursday at 1:30 p.m.

  • Domestic relations motions, show cause hearings and motions for temporary relief are heard on Friday beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Adoptions and Paternities

  • Adoptions requiring notice, including pro se adoptions, are heard on Tuesday at 3:00 p.m.  All other adoptions may be heard on any ex parte calendar except for Friday.

State Initiated Child Support Cases

  • State of Washington initiated child support cases, including support modifications and paternities, are heard on Monday at 9:00 a.m.

Trial Settings/Arbitration

  • Trial setting docket (KCLCR Exhibit A) and requests for mandatory arbitration (KCLCR Exhibit K) are placed on the docket on Friday at 9:00 a.m.
