Kitsap Drug Court
Commencement
December 10, 2004
Honorable Jay B.

Presiding
CELEBRATE
SUCCESS! |
Tim Kelly, Attorney
Crawford, McGilliard, Peterson, Yelish and Dixon
Guest Speaker
"Go out and live
honorable lives. Treat others well. Go into your
community and love one another. Living an honorable life as a Drug Court graduate will do more for
the program than anything else you can do. If you live an honorable life you
will strengthen the program. Watch the great pitchers and quarterbacks and follow through."
|
|

Patty, Drug Court Alumni
"I was lucky to be involved in
the Drug Court Program and I was held accountable for my actions. Without this program my life would still be out
of control. My sobriety comes first, for without it, everything else is gone."
|
|
|
| We
acknowledge the hard work and of these participants who have
successfully completed the Drug Court program. |
|

Chad, Graduate
"When I first came into the Drug
Court program I did not realize how much my life and personality I had
traded away. I gained back everything I had traded away." |

Shelly, Graduate
"I want to thank everyone."
|
|

Doug, Graduate
"I want to thank my daughter for saving my life. My father recently told me, 'I want you to live
with dignity and I know you will.' "
|

Stewart, Graduate
"I want to thank the Drug Court team who
had faith in me. When I didn't have faith in myself, the team did. I like the word "commencement" because it is a new
beginning."
|
|

Mike, Graduate
"I thank Judge Roof and all of the Drug Court counselors. Outside my kids, being in Drug Court is the most important
thing in my life."
|
Don, Graduate
"I was finally allowed into the program
after a month in jail. For me to come from the family and the life I grew up in, it was
hard to believe I could do these things. It was a struggle in the
program. Look where you were, and then look where you are now, and strive for that." |
|

Ulester, Graduate
"This is great. I would like to thank
Drug Court for selecting me to compete in this award winning program. I have won many awards; all of the
gains have been my awards."
|

Janice, Graduate
"Before I came here I never thought I'd be
drug free because I didn't think I had a problem. For me, jail didn't
work. I am so grateful for taking Drug Court because I have a life
I wouldn't trade for anything. I love being drug free." |
Kevin, Graduate
"I had a good life, promising career, but
for some reason I was looking for more rush, pleasure, and I
thought I found it in methamphetamine. The life and crimes I let myself be
involved in destroyed me. Everything was gone. . . . I had no soul; I had no hope. . . . Thank God I entered in
this program. This was the first right decision I
made. It wasn't easy. . . I'm just grateful I was accepted in the
program. I was either going to die or wind up in
prison."
