AdministrationThe Kitsap County Sheriff's Office is a modern and professional public safety organization. The duties and responsibilities are diverse and important to the overall health of our community. Please review the accompanying web pages to meet our officers and staff and learn about the many ways they contribute. An important facet is how integrated our members are through their involvement while on and off duty. They are your neighbors, church members, scout masters, and members of many service clubs. They participate on boards, professional organizations, chambers of commerce, and charities. Organizations include The United Way, Kitsap Family YMCA and Leadership Kitsap. They provide their time, commitment and expertise to improve the quality of our lives. The Sheriff's Office has a commitment to being the best law enforcement agency possible. This includes long-term planning and a culture which stresses customer service, problem solving and conflict resolution. We embrace technology to improve our level of service. It is important to remember, while we embrace technology to improve our service levels, that we are in a "people" business. Ensuring the rights of victims and their families is as important as apprehending law breakers. We must ensure people are held accountable for their behavior. The Administrative Division consists of the Sheriff, Undersheriff, Administrative Secretary, Payroll Clerk, Accounts Receivable Clerk, Office of Professional Standards, and Media Relations. Thank you for taking the opportunity to learn about the many facets of our office. We welcome and appreciate your suggestions and support in our quest to make Kitsap County an even safer place to live, work and raise our families. |
