VISITATION RULES

1.       Visiting will be restricted to one (1) adult visitor per visiting period. Minors are allowed to visit as long as they are accompanied by a parent or legal   guardian and must be approved on a case-by-case basis. An inmate is allowed a visit by the same minor every four weeks, but only one minor per visit. Call the receptionist at (360) 337-7108, to schedule a visit and/or get approval for a minor.

2.       Visiting will be by appointment only. Visiting appointments can be made Monday thru Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. by calling (360) 337-7108

3.      Each inmate will submit a list of not more than three (3) visitors for approval.  This list will contain the name, address, date of birth, phone number and relationship of the visitor to the inmate.  Each inmate can only update, add or delete visitors every two weeks. 

4.       Visitors must be present at the reception elevator at least (30) minutes prior to the assigned visiting times. 

5.       Visiting privileges may be suspended for reasons of security and safety, bad conduct or other reasons set out below.

6.       All inmates will have their living area clean and will be fully dressed before being allowed to visit.  Staff will inspect living areas for cleanliness.

7.       Inmates in disciplinary segregation and/or cell/mattress restriction will not be allowed to visit with family or friends.

8.       If an inmate is re-housed for classification reasons due to behavior, safety or security reasons, visiting will be cancelled for that particular week.

9.       Visitation is on a first come, first served basis. There are 14 slots per hour.

10.   Visitors must be attired properly to enter the jail; tank tops, short-shorts, and short revealing skirts will not be allowed.

11.   Inmates will remain in their assigned seating while visiting.

12.   Swearing, horseplay, loud conduct, or any other disruptive behavior will result in the termination of your visit.

13.   You will be required to leave the visiting area promptly at the end of your visiting period. Failure to leave promptly may result in loss of future visits.

14.   If a visitor who is signed up to see an inmate is denied access to the visiting area for any reason, the inmate will be notified of the visitor’s name and the reason for denial.

15.   Letters, messages or correspondence of any type will not be delivered to visitors through reception. Exceptions are for releasing excess property.

17.  It is the responsibility of an inmate to inform their visitors of the visiting schedule and the necessity of making an appointment in order to visit.

18.  Visitors may only leave money on the books for the inmate they are visiting.
