Inmate CorrespondenceAcceptable items for U.S. mail delivery to inmates include: letters, money orders, cashier's check, photographs, newspaper clippings, written documents forwarded for signature and legal mail between attorney and inmate. All other items are considered contraband and will result in the envelope and its contents being returned to sender or investigated for criminal violation. Items shipped via Federal Express or United Parcel Service (UPS) to any inmate will not be accepted. The following is a list of reasons why mail would be returned to sender:
