Criminal History:  Lee was convicted in 1987 for Rape in the First Degree after physically and sexually abusing an ex-girlfriend on numerous occasions over a two-day period. She was able to escape after Lee allowed her to make a phone call to a relative when he drove to a convenience store. Lee has prior convictions of Assault in the Second Degree after he stabbed a man with a knife and Aggravated Assault with a Weapon after he physically assaulted an ex-girlfriend with a metal pipe. He was also convicted of Kidnapping after he broke into his ex-wife’s residence, forced her out of her home and forced her into his vehicle. While heading out of state, he stopped the vehicle numerous times and physically assaulted his ex-wife. She was later able to escape. Lee wasn’t convicted until seven years after that offense due to the fact that he fled prosecution. Lee also committed 14 major infractions while incarcerated to include threats, strong-arming and destroying property.
