Criminal History: In 1997, Townson sexually assaulted a 14-year-old male who was staying the night at his residence with Townson’s grandson. Townson provided alcohol to the minor and they engaged in oral sex with each other. Two other juvenile males later came forward and claimed Townson also victimized them in a similar way. In 1993, Townson sexually abused a high school age male on several occasions and received a 14-month prison sentence for Sexual Misconduct with a Minor 1st degree. It is reported Townson is a deceptive man, and a high risk for sexual recidivism. An evaluator noted he still could be considered a predatory, premeditated, and patterned homosexual pedophile that is likely to re-offend if and when returned to the community. Townson was non-responsive to sex offender treatment during incarceration.
