Recycling is a less expensive option than disposal. Call ahead for fees, condition of tires accepted, and limits.

Recycled tires are used in cement kilns during the processing process. The tires are burned to produce the high temperatures needed to make cement. During the process, combustion is complete and emissions are lower than if an alternative fuel is used.

Remember to cover your load when transporting to reduce highway litter. It’s the law!
