Recycling can be less expensive than disposal. Companies listed in green accept tires for recycling. Call ahead for fees, condition of tires accepted, and limits. Prices vary by location. End of life tires are burned in cement kilns to make cement. During the process, combustion is complete and emissions are lower than if coal is used.
Remember to cover your load when transporting to reduce highway litter. It is the law!
