REVIEW GRANT APPLICATIONS FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS

If you are interested in playing an important part in the allocation of Community Development Block Grant funds for community development, you are encouraged to apply for the open positions on the Citizen Advisory Board. Kitsap County has traditionally distributed Federal CDBG and HOME funds to projects that promote community and individual well being. The five citizens who make up the advisory board, assist Block Grant Planners in developing draft action plans and conducting public meetings to review proposals for use of block grant funds. Volunteers are being recruited to represent residents of Bainbridge Island, Poulsbo or North Kitsap; residents of  Port Orchard or South Kitsap; and the County At Large.  Applications will be accepted until all positions are filled.
