Citizens sought to review grant applications for Community Development and Public Service projects

If you are interested in playing an important part in the allocation of Kitsap County Community Development Block Grant, HOME Program funds and Homeless and Affordable Housing Grant Programs for community development or public service projects, you are encouraged to apply to serve on one of the Kitsap County Grant Review Committees. Kitsap County has traditionally distributed funds to agencies for programs and projects that promote community well-being for low-income and homeless individuals and families.

Citizens serving on the committees assist staff in developing draft action plans and conducting public meetings to review proposals for use of block grant funds. Volunteers are needed to represent consumers of services and Kitsap County residents.

Applications are currently being accepted for the following (other previously posted positions have been filled):
- North Kitsap Representative on the Capitol Projects Committee

The applications and position descriptions with time and date requirements are included below.

If interested, please fill out the application below as soon as possible. If you have questions about the committees, contact Bonnie Tufts at or call Volunteer Services at 360-337-4650.
