REVIEW GRANT APPLICATIONS FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AND PUBLIC SERVICE PROJECTS

If you are interested in playing an important part in the allocation of Community Development Block Grant funds for community development or Public Service projects, you are encouraged to apply for the open positions on these Citizen Advisory Boards. Kitsap County has traditionally distributed Federal CDBG and HOME funds to projects that promote community and individual well being. The five citizens who make up each advisory board, assist Block Grant Planners in developing draft action plans and conducting public meetings to review proposals for use of block grant funds. Volunteers are needed to represent consumers of services, and residents of unincorporated Central Kitsap County.  Applications will be accepted until June 1, 2008 or until all positions are filled.
