SOLID WASTE ADVISORY COMMITTEE

South Kitsap residents willing to commit a few hours of their time representing Commissioner District #2 on the Solid Waste Advisory Committee (SWAC) are encouraged to apply. Members assist in the development of programs and policies concerning solid waste handling and disposal. They also advise the Solid Waste Program Director and the County Commissioners regarding program direction and implementation. The committee meets monthly on the 1st Wednesday of the month at 4 p.m. at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds Training Center.  Applications accepted until June 6, 2008.
