TRANSPORTATION PLANNING ADVISORY COMMITTEE

The Kitsap County Commissioners are seeking applications from citizens interested in being considered for appointment to the Transportation Planning Advisory Committee. The committee assists in the development of programs and policies concerning transportation planning. Members advise and make recommendations to the Transportation Planning Manager and staff regarding program direction and implementation. The committee meets bi-monthly to review and comment upon long range transportation planning issues. Members actively participate in the development of specific transportation analysis and studies.

Applicants must be Kitsap County residents who represent community groups or citizens with an interest or experience in transportation planning, traffic engineering and inter-governmental coordination and are willing to function as part of an advisory team. The committee meet at 7 p.m. on the third Tuesday of every other month.  Applications from District 2 and 3 will be accepted until the open positions are filled.
