Long-Term Care Ombudsman Volunteers

The Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program needs more advocates. Volunteers spend four or more hours each week visiting with the residents of nursing homes, assisted living facilities and adult family homes, working to ensure that the care is good and that the residents rights are being respected. Bring your desire to serve, the skills you've developed throughout your life, and join us in helping improve the quality of life for adults living in long term care facilities. Volunteers are especially needed in Bainbridge Island, Poulsbo, and Silverdale. For an application packet or more information, call (360) 337-5714.
