Seeking Citizens Interested In County Budget Committee

PORT ORCHARD, WA—The County Commissioners are looking for visionary citizens with some knowledge and interest in finances to serve on the Citizens Budget Advisory Committee. Committee members are challenged to make recommendations on how to deliver the vital and quality services citizens expect and deserve while living within the funding available. This committee of citizen volunteers makes recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners regarding overall assessment of County services and customer satisfaction; possible efficiencies or improvements in service delivery; and budget priorities and actions to be taken regarding expenditures and revenues. The committee currently meets on Monday evenings 1 to 3 times per month.

Interested citizens living in Commissioner Districts #2 or #3 are encouraged to apply.
