BKAT Advisory Committee Seeking County User Representative

PORT ORCHARD, WA
The Kitsap County Board of Commissioners is accepting applications from citizens interested in appointment to the Bremerton Kitsap Public Access Television Advisory Committee - BKAT. The committee acts as an advisory body to the City of Bremerton Council, and the Kitsap County Commissioners to promote and develop optimal utilization of Public Access Television. In addition to a staff member from the City of Bremerton and Kitsap County; the committee is made up of seven citizens who represent Bremerton, Kitsap County, youth, users and community at large. The current opening is to represent county users.

The committee meets at least once a month, and makes recommendations regarding general policy relating to services and facilities. The committee also promotes community outreach and provides a forum for citizens regarding the use of facilities, programming and other related issues.
