BKAT Advisory Committee

The Bremerton Kitsap Public Access Television (BKAT) Advisory Committee acts as an advisory body to the City of Bremerton Council, Mayor of Bremerton and the Kitsap County Board of Commissioners to promote and develop optimal utilization of the public access television system.

The committee also makes general recommendations regarding issues relating to services and facilities provided to subscribers and users of the system; promotes community outreach; and provides a forum for public concerns regarding the use of facilities, programming and other related issues.

In addition to staff members from the City of Bremerton and Kitsap County, the committee is made up of 10 community members who represent Bremerton, Kitsap County, youth, users and the community at large. The committee meets quarterly.

Committee members must be Kitsap County residents with a professional, educational or personal interest in public access television, and willing to work as part of an advisory team.
