Kitsap County Canvassing Board

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that within Kitsap County, State of Washington, there will be a recount of the ballots for the office of Washington State Senate, Legislative District 26 voted at the General Election on November 6, 2018.

Elections staff will prepare ballots for the recount Tuesday, December 4, 2018 and Wednesday, December 5, beginning at 8:00 a.m. each day. The official recount will take place beginning at 8:00 a.m., Thursday December 6, 2018.

The Kitsap County Canvassing Board will meet to certify the recount at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, December 7, 2018. 

These meetings will be held in the Kitsap County Auditor's Office Elections Division at 619 Division Street in Port Orchard, Washington.

This notice is given in accordance with RCW 29A.60.190, RCW 29A.64.021 and RCW 42.30, Open Public Meetings Act.
