Notice of Availability, Draft Environmental Impact Statement
Consistent with SEPA rules, the County is conducting a 45-day comment period on the Draft EIS from September 17, 2019, to 5 p.m. November 1, 2019. All responses to comments, clarifications, and corrections will be included in and considered for the Final EIS and analysis of the Preferred Alternative.
Kitsap County needs your help to streamline the requirements for what can be built in your neighborhood and the process to obtain approval to build. Do you want to see a coffee shop or grocery store in your neighborhood? What about a factory or tavern next door to your home? Some things are compatible, some are not. We want to understand where you feel housing, businesses, and services should be built across the county. Your feedback will help the Department of Community Development draft proposed changes for further review later this year.
