KITSAP COUNTY FAIR & STAMPEDE

Function & Purpose
The Kitsap County Fair Board advises and acts as the community liaison with respect to planning and operations of the annual Kitsap County Fair (Ordinance No. 200-1996 revised 6/6/05).
Established: The Kitsap County Fair Board was established by the Kitsap County Board of Commissioners by Resolution No. 21-1965, which was codified as Section 1.6 of the Kitsap County Code. The Fair Board was established to advise, guide and assist the Fair Management in the development and operation of the annual Kitsap County Fair. The purview of the Fair Board was amended by Ordinance No 200-1996 and revised on 6/6/05.
Meeting Time & Location
The Fair Board meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday, monthly (No meeting in December) at 6:00 pm.
Meetings are held in the Eagle's Nest*, 1195 NW Fairgrounds Road, Bremerton. Minutes from each month's meeting are approved at the next Fair Board meeting. Once the minutes have been approved by the Fair Board members, they are posted to this website. Minutes are unavailable until they are approved at a public Fair Board meeting.
Membership
Members are unpaid volunteers from throughout Kitsap County who are appointed to the Board by the Kitsap County Board of Commissioners. The Fair & Rodeo Board is comprised of nine (9) members. Terms are three (3) years for each area of responsibility (Ordinance No. 200-1996 passed 12/23/96 revised 6/6/05).
