Earth Day

Earth Day Awards

Celebrating environmental stewardship since 1993

Each year, Kitsap County Public Works and the Board of County Commissioners recognize groups and individuals for their dedication to environmental stewardship.

Award recipients are celebrated for their work in environmental education, habitat restoration, recycling, litter control, water quality, and more.

NOMINATIONS

Do you know an individual, group, or business that deserves to be celebrated for their environmental efforts? Submit a nomination today.

Any business, group/organization, school, teacher, educational program/project, or individual is eligible. The nominee does not have to live in Kitsap County, but the efforts on which the nomination is based must occur in Kitsap County. If selected, your nominee will be celebrated at a Board of County Commissioners Meeting in April.
