Judge Hull earned his Juris Doctor from Drake University Law School in Des Moines, Iowa. He graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. He was admitted to the Washington State Bar Association in 1994 and the Oregon State Bar Association in 2003.
Prior to joining the bench, Judge Hull worked in the public and private sectors handling matters involving both criminal and civil law. He began his career as a public defender in Bremerton Municipal Court. He practiced products liability and employment law for the law firm of Wolfstone, Panchot & Bloch in Seattle. In 2005, he became the Senior Deputy Prosecuting Attorney in the Special Assault Unit of the Kitsap County Prosecutor's Office.
Judge Hull values legal education and community service. Judge Hull serves on the Education Committee of the Superior Court Judges' Association. He is also a member of The Honorable Robert J. Bryan Chapter of the American Inns of Court. He has previously served as Vice President on the Board of Directors for the South Kitsap Boys & Girls Club. Throughout his career, he provided pro bono legal services in Kitsap and King Counties.
