Kitsap County Treasurer

The County Treasurer holds a key position of public trust in the financial affairs of local government. Acting as the "bank" for the county, school districts, fire districts, water districts, and other units of local government; the treasurer's office receipts, disburses, invests, and accounts for the funds of each of these entities.

COVID-19 Updates:

The Treasurer's Office is currently closed to the public. There is a silver drop box in front of the Administration Building for Property Tax Payments. It is emptied several times per day with the last pickup being 2:30pm. If you would like a receipt, you must include a self addressed stamped envelope. DO NOT put cash in the drop box.
First Half 2020 tax deadline- Please read the Treasurer Response to COVID 19.
First Half 2020 Payment Plan- Complete this Payment Plan Contract to apply for a payment plan on your first half 2020 taxes if you are not able to pay them due to COVID-19 financial hardships. For more information on the terms and payment amounts send an email to hyoung@co.kitsap.wa.us or mail to PO Box 169, Port Orchard, WA 98366.
