Any employee who refers a successful applicant to a regular budgeted position receives a one-time $250 referral incentive payment for each referral!
The details:
- The program's effective date is March 14, 2022
- Bring lots of friends! No limit on the number of people you refer or the number of incentive payments you receive! However, only one referral payment per applicant.
- Once the candidate is the successful hire, you get paid!
- They have to be your friend or a person you know - no paid outreach/recruiting efforts, please and they must have identified you as the person who referred them on their application.
- Stay with Kitsap! You have to be a current employee in order to receive your incentive payment, plus, we want you to stay.
- Incentive payments are paid via payroll direct deposit and are subject to payroll taxes.
- If you are on a hiring panel or part of the hiring decision, you are not able to receive the incentive for that position.
- Sorry HR staff, you already perform this function, so this program is not for you.
- If there is already a different referral incentive for a position, this program does not apply (e.g., some Kitsap County Sheriff's Department positions).
