County Flood Zone Maps Updated
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has updated the flood insurance rate maps for Kitsap County. Affected property owners are being notified about this update and are encouraged to attend two public meetings...Click here

Plans Examiner Available for questions
Beginning April 1, 2015, DCD now provides a Residential Building Plans Examiner to answer questions. The Plans Examiner of the Day is available Monday - Friday from 9AM - Noon. This service provides information about residential construction plans, building code requirements, and assistance with the energy code worksheet.
