The Public Records Officer for the Kitsap County Prosecutor's Office is Susan Rogers, Deputy Prosecuting Attorney.

To ensure that public records requests are captured and responded to in a timely fashion, all requests for records held by this office must be submitted to the Prosecutor's Office Public Disclosure Team and may be made in person, by fax, mail, or email to the contact information above. Our office's business hours are 8:00 AM-4:30 PM Monday through Friday, closed from noon to 1:00 PM and Kitsap County holidays. All public records requests received after business hours are deemed received the next business day.

Within five business days of receipt of the request, the Prosecutor's Office will do one or more of the following:  (1) provide the record(s); (2) provide an internet address and link on the Kitsap County website to the specific records requested; (3) deny the request; or (4) acknowledge receipt of the request and provide a reasonable time estimate for the response.

Please be aware that many of the records held by the Prosecutor's Office are collected in anticipation of, or preparation for, litigation and exempt from disclosure under the Public Records Act. You will be advised when this exemption applies.

**Requests for discovery are NOT public records requests. **   Requests from attorneys and treatment providers seeking discovery in a criminal case are to be directed to the Criminal Division of the Kitsap County Prosecutor's Office, at (360) 337-7174 or to be connected with the Deputy Prosecuting Attorney, or his/her legal assistant, assigned to the case.
