Department of Community Development COVID Web Page Banner.jpgA Message From DCD Director, Jeff Rimack,CBO

We have entered an unprecedented time, and as our business-as-usual paradigm is forced to shift, DCD remains committed to providing excellent service to our clients and community partners.

Effective March 26, 2020, Governor Inslee issued a Clarification Order, which halted all commercial and residential construction. Compliance with this order, and previously issued COVID-19 guidance, requires DCD halt some services and modify others. We nonetheless remain here to help and we encourage you to take advantage of DCD's virtual services, including:

· 24/7 Online Permit Applications and Permit Status Checks;

· Live Chat with our professional, in-house Permit Technicians; and

· Live Chat with Stormwater, Land Use, and Environmental Staff Members.

Please bookmark this page and check-in for updates and amendments to DCD services and policies as they occur. For general Kitsap County Information, please visit www.kitsapgov.com. DCD leadership and staff are here to serve you. As we work together to balance mitigating COVID-19 risk with providing exceptional service to our community, we greatly appreciate your patience and understanding.
