The planning and environmental programs division brings together the County's long range planning activities with environmental and natural resource management programs.

The Planning and Environmental Programs Division is responsible for long range planning activities related to RCW 36.70A (Growth Management Act) as applied to Kitsap County as well as working with other counties, tribes, state and federal governments, organizations, and citizens for the economic health and welling being of the county natural environment.
