The Department of Community Development accepts ideas for potential updates to the Kitsap County Code on an on-going basis (submit your idea here)
The catalog of ideas include director's interpretations, hearing examiner decisions, historic notes, and submissions from internal and external sources. The catalog of ideas has undergone limited review and does not constitute a recommendation by the Department of Community Development.

The Department is working with the Code Update Ad Hoc Advisory Committee to develop a framework to assess and prioritize the current catalog of ideas for potential amendments to Kitsap County Code. Based in-part on the results of the Ad Hoc Advisory Committee's assessment, the Department and Board of County Commissioners will determine which ideas move forward for consideration as code update projects.
