Veteran's Drug Treatment Court Mentors

Applications are open for veterans interested in helping other veterans through the Kitsap County Veteran's Drug Treatment Court Mentor program. Volunteer mentors are needed to act as coach, guide, role model, advocate and supporter of the individuals participating in veteran's treatment court. They encourage and guide veterans through the court process, listen to concerns, make general suggestions and assist them in successfully accomplishing their goals. Mentors support veterans at a time when they may feel very alone - in a way that only other veterans can understand.

Applicants for the Kitsap County Veteran Mentors Program must be active duty or veterans who received an honorable discharge and are willing to submit to a criminal background check.
