The Corrections Division is committed to providing a safe, secure, legal and respectful environment for officers, staff, inmates, professional personnel, and the community. 

The Kitsap County Sheriff's Office Jail corrections officers are dedicated in their role of serving the community and the criminal justice system.  Our corrections officers, who are not always visible to the community, come in everyday applying their passion, dedication, and motivation to make a positive difference to the people of Kitsap County.

Our jail's commitment is to assist those who are incarcerated navigate through the criminal justice system and transition into the community with resources that will help them succeed.  Our re-entry staff meet with individuals and assist with finding them the services they need.

Some of the services provided to incarcerated people in Kitsap County Sheriff's Office Jail to assist while in custody and transition into the community:  

  · Medical and Mental Health Services
  · Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Program for Opioid addiction 
  · Behavioral Health Assessments (Drug, Alcohol and Mental Health) 
  · Referrals to inpatient and outpatient behavioral health treatment providers 
  · Veteran's Services 
  · Transitional assistance for basic needs once released (food, insurance, and housing) 
  · Referrals to help women who are pregnant 
  · Assistance and referrals to programs that help those that are victims of domestic violence or
     human trafficking
