As members of our various communities continue to express their frustration and concerns involving the death of George Floyd, many questions have been asked of Sheriff Gary Simpson and the Kitsap Board of County Commissioners concerning government and law enforcement response to ethnic and racial issues, police use of force, and other policy topics.

In reply to many of the commonly asked questions about how the sheriff’s office conducts its business, the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office updated its website with the addition of a Community Response Page to provide answers.
