WA Solid Waste Collection Tax (3.6%) is added to all solid waste disposal transactions. No tax on recycled wastes.

Recycle
Recyclables must be empty, clean, dry, and loose. No bagged items, plastic bags and wrap, Styrofoam, or shredded paper.
The following items are collected at no charge:
Plastic bottles, jugs, jars, and dairy tubs (no lids or caps)
Cardboard
(flattened)
Paper - mail, magazines and catalogs, newspaper, office paper, phone books, paperboard boxes, etc.
Metal cans (no loose lids)
Glass bottles and jars (no lids or caps)
Liquid cooking oil(Filter at home to remove food particles. Put empty container into trash.)
Clothing and shoes(dry)
